Accountant – Public Practice

Great opportunity to join a fabulous Sunshine Coast Public Practice Firm located in the heart of Maroochydore where the opportunities for an experienced Tax Accountant are endless.

This is a professional, established and stable company where you have the opportunity to grow with the firm and improve your skills with ongoing development and support.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 3+ years experience in Australian Taxation, SMSF and auditing, however Senior Accountants are also encouraged to apply

The successful applicant will be required to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• A minimum of three plus years experience working in an Australian Public Practice firm
• Tertiary Degree Qualifications in Accountancy 
• CA or CPA qualifications or the desire to complete is favourable
• The ability to complete Australian Tax Returns for Companies, Trust and Individuals
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to interporate and comply with Australian Taxation laws
• Experience in liaising effectively with clients, ATO and government and regulatory departments
• Previous experience in SMSF and auditing is favourable
• The ability to meet and exceed productivity targets and KPI’s
• Have a positive self motivated attitude within a busy team environment
• Enjoy working with a fun, professional team of highly skilled Accountants
• Professional presentation, sound accountancy knowledge for a variety of business’ and strong work ethics
