Our client is one of the largest producers of coal internationally. They are well recognised as an employer who offers stability, good technical support, ongoing training and career advancement as well as excellent working conditions.
We are currently seeking two qualified Maintenance Planners with previous experience in the mining sector preferably Coal.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for effective planning and scheduling of the weekly maintenance activities.
To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Relevant Trade qualifications
- Experience in a similar role in the mining industry
- Management of resources and monitoring of maintenance performance against key performance indicators
- Ensuring maintenance priorities are correctly scheduled with overall site procedures and statutory requirements through liaison with production and trades personnel
- The ability to practice and promote safe work behaviours
- Exception team focus, flexible attitude and communication skills
- Computer skills and experience using maintenance management systems essential
- Strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks
