Our client is one of the largest producers of coal internationally. They are well recognised as an employer who offers stability, good technical support, ongoing training and career advancement as well as excellent working conditions.
We are currently seeking experienced Senior Mine Engineers to join a highly motivated and experienced Underground Team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager your main focus will be to project manage key mine projects.
To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Engineering qualification
- Experience in a similar role in the mining industry (Coal)
- Reviewing mining developments, longwall progress and predicted geology
- The adjustment of mining plans 18 months in advance
- Exceptional project management skills with a proven employment history in this area
- Strong technical and mine planning skills
- The ability to practice and promote safe work behaviours
- Exception team focus, flexible attitude and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks
